Capable Hands.
Signed Hours.
Shauna is a USVI-based stewardess, licensed massage therapist, and capitán-in-training logging real-world sea time. She joins your passage, does real work — hull cleaning, deck, galley, watches — and you sign her log at the end. No day rate. Essentials covered. You get a steady extra hand. She gets the miles.
The Handshake
Crew the boat. Sign the log. Shake on it. Real hands for real hours — the kind of arrangement that's moved aspiring captains up the dock since the first watch was stood.
Real Work, Real Presence
⭐ Underwater hull & V-deck work preferred — that's where the most useful hours accumulate.
- 🤿Underwater hull & running-gear — scrape, brush, prop check. She brings her own mask & fins.
- 🛠V-deck & topside work — teak care, brightwork, hardware, varnish prep, detail.
- 🧭Standing watches day & night, helm, line-handling, anchor watch, sail trim.
- 🍳Galley — meal planning, cooking underway, provisioning before departure.
- 🥂Hospitality polish if you've got owners or guests aboard.
- 💆Licensed massage therapist — sessions for skipper or crew after a rough watch.
- 🚑CPR + First Aid, current. VHF, MOB drills, basic medical kit familiarity.
A Signed Log + Essentials Aboard
📒 The signed sea-time log is the whole point — the rest is just enough to keep her aboard.
- 📒Sea-time log signed at the end — USCG-style: dates, miles, your captain's name & license number.
- 🛏A crew berth on board for the duration of the passage.
- 🍽Meals shared with the rest of the crew — nothing special, just fed.
- 🏝Modest shore-side essentials when islands are visited — small food run, port fees if she's helping.
- ✈️She covers her own flight to the boat if the start port is far from USVI.
- 🌴Drop-off ideally in BVI / USVI / Eastern Caribbean, but she's flexible.
- 🤝A handshake at the end — both walk away clean, no debts either way.
Who This Works For
She's looking to log hours across as many real-world scenarios as possible. Some flavors that fit:
A boat that runs steadier because she's aboard. A crew that finds itself leaning into her calm without realizing. And a signed log when the dock lines come back on.
